Sweetgreen Launches SG Rewards Loyalty Program Nationwide

LOS ANGELES, April 2, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT TO EAT) — Restaurant company Sweetgreen has announced the nationwide rollout of SG Rewards, a new loyalty program that allows customers to earn points on purchases and access members-only perks.

A recent company press release states that SG Rewards is structured to award 10 points for every eligible dollar spent. Points can be redeemed for menu items, including Sweetgreen’s recently launched Ripple Fries, which are air-fried in avocado oil and seasoned with salt and herbs.

According to a company, SG Rewards is designed to improve customer engagement through flexibility and convenience. Members can earn and redeem points by ordering ahead through the Sweetgreen app or scanning in-store at checkout.

In conjunction with the program’s launch, Sweetgreen is offering a 1,000-point bonus to new members who make their first eligible purchase during April. Existing members who place an eligible order by April 11 will also receive the same bonus. 1,000 points is equivalent to a free order of Ripple Fries.

Customers can enroll by downloading the Sweetgreen app or visiting www.sweetgreen.com/sg-rewards. Those with existing accounts will be automatically enrolled.
